Some customers will want a dedicated fax machine and others may have just purchased a plain paper fax machine or prefer PC fax or others just don't need fax. HP offers these customers a solution combining printing, scanning and copying functions in a versatile, easy to use device.

In certain markets, fax technology and telecommunications do not allow customers to take advantage of the HP OfficeJet 'G' family's fax function. In such markets, HP have introduced the HP OfficeJet G55 with 3 functions only.
